Folks who just started getting their Social Security payment
The people who are just starting to get their Social Security checks are the ones who need the most help to understand when the payments come. The schedule goes as follows: On December 30, people got the first January 2023 SSI payment. On January 3, folks already for their Social Security payments. January 11 rolled out Social Security payments for people whose birthdays fall between the first and 10th of the month.
January 18 gave their payments to people whose birthday fall between the 11th and the 20th of the month. Last but not least, January 25 rolled out payments to people whose birthday falls between the 21st and 31st of the month. They will get their SS payment on the third day of each month and the SSI on the first day of each month. These dates change if those days fall on a weekend, usualy ahead of schedule.
