Macy’s is reportedly closing more than two dozen stores. Is your location on the list?

A week into 2020, the retail apocalypse rages on.

Macy’s is closing at least 19 stores in the next couple months, according to local media reports. Corporate officials would not confirm how many stores are closings or provide a list of the stores being shuttered.

“We regularly review our store portfolio and will provide an update at our Investor Day on February 5th,” the company said in a statement sent to USA TODAY Tuesday.

Clearance sales will begin this month and run for eight to 12 weeks, Macy’s Media Relations Manager Julianne Bartosz said in an email to TCPalm.com, which is part of the USA TODAY Network, about the Macy’s in the Indian River Mall in Vero Beach, Florida.

On Monday, Pier 1 Imports announced it plans to close up to 450 locations, nearly half of its 942 stores.
